Refill Instructions
Canon PGI-220 and CLI-221
Replacement cartridges that can
be refilled and have auto reset chips.

1) Remove the cartridge from the cartridge casing (chip holder).

2)    Hold the empty cartridge tank upside down with the horizontal plane at an angle of about 45 degrees as in picture.

3)      

 3) Attach the sharp needle to the syringe and fill with the correct color ink. (approximately 9 ml of Black Ink or 4 ml of Color Ink)

4) Push the needle into the silicon plug until it is in the cartridge chamber. ( Do not take out the silicon plug).

5) Slowly inject ink into the filling hole until the chamber is full.

6) Pull the syringe out of the silicon plug. Unused ink may be returned to the bottle.

7) Slide the cartridge back into the casing (chip holder).

8) The cartridge is now ready to be put back into the printer. Once the cartridge is put back into the printer the chip will reset itself back to full. The cartridge can also be stored in the cartridge holder for future use.

A Refill Kit should include
 Ink plus the following:
One 10cc Syringe with sharp needle for each color
